Waite uses concepts of mundanity and the every day to explore contemporary, socio-political concerns. Using ephemera, waste and trash culture as reference points, Waite delivers printed works that incite conversations around societal behaviours in relation to consumerist habits. Employing reprographic methods that would normally disseminate information repetitiously, Waite uses printing machinery to make isolated, singular artworks that give greater meaning to the easily disposed.
